4 Months

You are 4 Months old this month and I just can't believe how fast it has gone by. You are such a smiley and sweet baby. At the Dr. you were 16 lb 12 oz and 24 1/2 in long... You are a short and pudgey baby! This is also the month you were concieved. I can believe it has been a whole year since then. It feels like only yesterday. I am so excited that I had you and that you are my sweet little chunky monkey!

This month is going to be a super fun month for us. We are going to go swimming and hang out with friends alot. I am so excited that it is finally summer!

New Toys

Maddox,

I am kinda slacking on this blog thing... sorry little dude! In the past two weeks you have gotten so big! I can't get over how fast you grow. I look at pictures of you when you were first born and I can't even remember you being that small.

You have finally gotten big enough for some new toys, and you are so excited about them, so am I! First you are finally big enough for your bumbo seat! Sometimes you like and and sometimes you don't... but Mommy loves it :) Its so nice to be able to be able to set you down in it while I eat or something. You are also big enough for your Johnny Jump Up. This one you love! You aren't quite sure how to jump yet, but you love to just hang around in it. Everyonce in awhile you figure out how to jump and it's just so cute!

.Finally, your new favorite toy is your activity center! You just love this. You get so excited and start drooling everywhere! It's so funny to watch you concentrate so hard on playing with the toys and trying to get them... You don't have the greatest hand eye coordination yet so it takes you awhile to find the toys. I just love watching you grow and learn new things. You have also started talking alot more and singing... Your favorite song is Lady Gaga Bad Romance. You try very hard to sing along with me. You are about to turn 4 months and I can't wait to see how big you are at the next Dr. appointment.

Motherhood

This week on I Heart Faces a photography blog I follow there is a contest theme of Motherhood.

This one word means so much to me now that I have you, Maddox. From the first day I found out I was pregnant I knew I was in love, and then I felt you move and that love grew, and it just kept growing as I found out you were going to be my little man. The moment I had you was like nothing I ever imagined. You became my world in that second. Now every day I just grow more and more in love with you. The moments this picture portrays is what I love about being a mother. The way I can just look at you and smile, and you light up and grin and coo away. Its so amazing to know that we have such a special bond. I love you little man, and I am so blessed to be able to be your mom!

You are 3 months old this week, it is hard to believe how fast it has flown by and how much you have grown. I wanted to start this blog for you so one day we can look back together and see all the things we did! I am starting a little late, but I figured better late than never.

You turned 3 months this weekend... We had so much fun. We were in Indianna for your Uncle Mark's wedding. We got to go swimming since the hotel had an indoor pool! I was so excited to take you swimming for the first time. You didn't even cry! I was so proud of you.

This weekend was also Mother's Day. It's such a priveledge to be able to say I am finally a Mother! It's the one thing I always wanted to be and I couldn't have asked for a better baby! I love you so much, and I love being your mom! You are one amazing little boy.

Well that's all I am going to post for now... but I am excited to start this blog and write to you!
